A. Miriam Curler, age 97, of Rushsylvania, Ohio passed away Friday afternoon, December 28, 2018 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born in Hardin County Ohio December 9, 1921, to the late Otto and Lucretia (McAdams) Culp.
Miriam married Walter Curler February 2, 1942 in Mississippi, and he preceded her in death August 9, 1999. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Carlos Culp, John Culp, Everett Culp and a sister, Virginia Miller.
Miriam is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Joe) Clegg of Columbus, Ohio and Cynthia (Steve) Jacobs of Bellefontaine, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michael Smith of Seattle, Washington, Michelle (Tony) Thompson of Marysville, Ohio, David (Diane) Jacobs of Marysville, Ryan (Rebecca) Jacobs of Columbus, and Mark (Jen) Jacobs of Milan, Indiana; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl (Helen) Culp, and Bill (Pat) Culp, both of Rushsylvania.
Miriam was one of “the 39er’s” - a graduate of Belle Center High School – Class of 1939 and was a member of Rushsylvania Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ in Rushsylvania Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 3 to 7 P.M.
Pastor John Watkins will officiate the funeral service Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the church.
Burial will follow the funeral service at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania.
