Albert John Kessler

Albert John Kessler, age 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 12:40 AM. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. He was born in Dayton, Ohio July 2, 1927, to the late Albert Anthony Arthur and Catherine Elizabeth (Lengerich) Kessler.

On April 3, 1976, he married Roberta Jean (Reed) Kessler and she preceded him in death January 4, 2012. Albert was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Jack Ivory.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Diane, Tom, David, Karen, Beverly, Mick, Jerry, Charlie, and Ann.

Albert was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and Korea. He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine, the Bellefontaine V.F.W. where he was a Past Commander, a member of the Logan County Veteran's Honor Guard, the American Legion, and the Lakeview Moose.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will then officiate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine.

Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery with military rites provided by the Logan County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
