Albert F. “Bus” Page, 89, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born January 23, 1920 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Harry Page and Ethel (Strickland) Nawman.
On February 12, 1946, he married Beulah Randall in Logan County, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2006. Also preceding him in death was a son, Clifford Page and his twin brother, Arnold “Dick” Page.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Lee Page of North Lewisburg, Ohio, and Albert Walter “Junior” (Holly) Page of Sidney, Ohio; and three grandchildren, David Page, John and Laura VanFossen.
Bus worked for The United Telephone Company and retired after 32 years of service and later worked 10 years for Super Foods as a security guard.
A United States Army Veteran serving in World War II, he was a member of the United Church of Christ in West Liberty, Ohio, and a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Post #173. He bowled for many years and loved animals.
Gene Marine will conduct the funeral service at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Friday, January 15, 2010, from 5 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, with military services by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
