Albert F. Parker, 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born on February 28, 1919 in Mentor, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Margaret Parker.
In February of 1938, he married Louise Neal in Bellefontaine and she preceded him in death on January 2, 2009. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Surviving is a son, Jack Parker of Bellefontaine and four grandchildren, Jason Bradley Parker, Estelle Alverez, Rose Marie Parker, and Natasha Cobos.
A United States Navy Veteran, serving in World War II and a Pearl Harbor survivor, Albert was a machinist for Roberts Screw Products and also did some carpentry work. He was a Jehovah Witness and loved to travel with his wife, especially to Michigan and Canada. An avid fisherman, he made fishing lures and sold them all over the United States.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 26, 2009, at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio, with James Liggett conducting the service.
The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
