Allen Neal

Allen D. Neal, 54, of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2015 at his home. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 16, 1961 to Charles E. and Doris E. “Tonie” Neal. Allen was preceded in death by a sister Tina A. Gressner in 1990 and his father Charles in 2013.

A 1979 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Allen then went to work at HBD. Following that he spent seventeen years working at Tree Links Golf Course in maintenance and lawn care. Allen enjoyed playing pool, fishing and hunting mushrooms. He was a member of the Eagles.

Allen is surived by his mother Doris E. “Tonie” Neal of Bellefontaine; siblings: Ed (Linda) Neal of Lewistown, Diana (Steve) Sherrick of West Mansfield, Larry Neal of Quincy and Allen’s twin Jerry Neal of Bellefontaine; numerous nieces and nephews; and his sweetheart and special friend Lora Kaczar of Huntsville.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4-6pm. Pastor Matt Sandlin will officiate a graveside service on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11am at the Huntsville Cemetery.
