Amy Daneen (Hurley) Trapp, 45, of Bellefontaine passed away, unexpectedly, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on October 25, 1970 to the late William Douglas Hurley and Susan Doreen (Brown) Hurley who survives in Bellefontaine. On January 23, 2004 she married Eric Marshall Trapp of Bellefontaine and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Kelly Sue (John Baker) Maddox of Raymond, Ohio; a grandson, Elijah Baker; sister, April Doreen (Christian) Walker of Bellefontaine; mother & father-in-law, Marshall & Pamela Trapp of DeGraff, sister-in-law, Lisa (Jeff) Harman of Bellefontaine; nieces and nephews, Thomas Snapp, Chelsea Harman, and Shelby & Tyler Knox; a great nephew, Tristan Knox; and many Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
Along with her father, Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold & Wanda Brown, and Floyd & Dorothy Hurley,
Amy was a Medical Assistant and worked for Midwest Foot Care. She attended First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine. She loved reading books, especially her bible. Amy enjoyed flowers and working in her garden. She loved Eric’s cooking and was his biggest critic. Amy loved to be around her family and was extremely proud of her daughter and grandson. She liked all animals, but especially her cats, Karma and MoMo. Amy was a very giving and generous person, who gave to many charities. She had a positive outlook on life, even during her illness. Amy gave the ultimate gift and was an organ and tissue donor.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine.
