Anita J. Wilson, 72, of Belle Center, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born July 22, 1937 in Confluence, Kentucky to the late Altro and Fae (Huff) Bowling.
On July 22, 1954 she married Vestel L. Wilson in Hazard, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2008. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Brenda Livermore, and a brother, Larry E. Bowling.
Surviving are her children, David (Pamela) Wilson and Linda Baker both of Belle Center; three brothers, Wayne (Lois) Bowling of Peoria, Illinois, Estil E. Bowling of Sacramento, California, and Lowell O. (Gail) Bowling of Somerset, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Dan) Craig; Josh Livermore, Alicia and Jessica Baker, Frederick (Kendra) Justice; David Grooms, Kelly Wilson and Jimmy Holland; four great grandchildren, Gavin, Kaleb, Anthony and Kyle.
A homemaker, Anita was a member of the New Richland Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren and loved her Jack Russell Terrier, Zoey.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center with Pastors Ron Sanderson and Wayne Bowling, her brother, officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
