Annajane Austin

Annajane Austin, 91, of Bellefontaine, Ohio and formerly of Sun City, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 14, 1919 in Murphysboro, Illinois to the late Walter and Mariam (Howell) Holloway.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Austin in February 1991. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Holloway and a sister, Ruth Connely.

Surviving is a son, Steve (Maureen) Austin of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Margaret (Greg) McGowan of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Winnella Applegate of Sun City, Florida; and three grandchildren, Kori (Mark) Holloway, Jeremy (Anita) McGowan, and Jeff (Sandy) Austin.

A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine and the Senior Citizens.

A private family service will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with Gene Marine officiating.
