Ashlee Nicole “Ash” Ray passed away unexpectedly at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on March 19, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 26.
Ashlee was born on May 19, 1989 in Plain City to Scott and Colleen Ray. She graduated from Ridgemont High School where she excelled in the sports program. Ashlee loved all things Ohio State and was an avid Buckeye fan and collector of memorabilia. Ashlee had an artist’s eye and loved art in all forms; she was a talented individual who took photographs, drew and painted.
Ashlee is survived by her parents, Scott and Colleen Ray of Bellefontaine, brother, Ben of Kettering, paternal grandmother Patty Ray of Groveport, ”partner in crime” cousin Allison Tackett of Delaware , special friend Paul Buckley of Boston, Massachusetts, and her beloved cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Paul and Mary Holderman of Bellefontaine and paternal grandfather George Ray of Groveport.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
