Audrey Mae Spangler Dearwester Moats Bollinger, age 91, passed away at 10:12am on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Monarch Skilled Nursing in Marysville, Ohio.  Audrey suffered from Alzheimer's disease for the last ten years and had frequent lung infections which eventually won the battle. She was cared for by Loving Care Hospice who made her last moments comfortable and she passed peacefully.

Audrey was born on May 11, 1928 to William Riley Spangler and Jane Combs in Letcher County, Kentucky in a small unincorporated town called Colly, Kentucky near Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was the last survivor of the Spangler Family of 17 children.

She was preceded in death by John Dewey Spangler and Alvin Spangler (half-brothers), Sarah Spangler (half sister), George Denver Spangler (brother), Lizzie Vadis Spangler (sister), Benjamin Franklin Spangler (brother), Edna Bell Spangler (sister who was 12 days old), Polly Ann Spangler (sister), Ada Spangler (sister), Cora Estell Spangler (sister), Clara Stella Spangler (sister), Nola Bernice Spangler (sister), Alexander Spangler (brother), Pauline Spangler (sister who was six months old), Lydia Margaret Spangler (sister), Rachel Jean Spangler (sister). Also preceded in death by Calvin Daniel Dearwester (husband), William Harold Moats (husband), Roger Alan Bollinger (husband), and Herb Booth (life partner), Daniel Allen Dearwester (grandson who was two and one-half years old).

Audrey is survived by her eight sons and their wives, Kelly Gene (Sharon), James Edward (Cindy), Roger Lynn (Marilyn), Karl Alan (Julie), Randy Lee (Bobbie deceased), Gary Marvin (Sheree), Calvin Daniel Jr, Jeffrey Todd Dearwester (Fran), 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Audrey was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Washington Court House, Ohio on July 3, 1994.  She was also a member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary and Eastern Star.

Pastor Jason Knight will officiate the funeral service at 12 noon Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will vie held Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
