Biography

Barbara E. Huber Roof, 70, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday night, January 28, 2012 at Wapakoneta Manor in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine May 12, 1941, to the late John Frederick and Eva Mae Miller Huber.

A 1959 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and the College of William & Mary, Barbara was retired from Chemical Abstracts in Columbus.

Barbara is survived by her sons James (Rose) Roof of Wapakoneta and Robert (Rebekah) Roof of Milton, Florida; a daughter, Frances (Eddie) Cadieu of Columbia, South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; a brother, John Russell (Donna) Huber of Allegan, Michigan; sisters Virginia Kimmel of Tuscon, Arizona, Rose (Dale) Haning of Miami, Florida and Carol (Frank Wesley) Hudson of Kingsport, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
