Barbara R. Trimble

Barbara R. Trimble, age 71, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 6:55 A.M. Friday, October 13, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. She was born in Bellefontaine May 2, 1946, to the late Buell Green and Reba (Salyer) Trimble. A sister, Audrey Grace Webber and brothers, Willis and Glenn Trimble preceded Barbara in death.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Venus) Downing of Bellefontaine, Matt (Nickie) Downing Jr. of Bellefontaine, and Todd (Andrea) Downing of Belle Center, Ohio; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Roger Trimble of San Diego, California, and Patrick Trimble of Ray, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a 1964 graduate of West Liberty Salem High School. She attended the First Church of God in Bellefontaine when she was more mobile. Barbara enjoyed gardening and baking. She won several blue ribbons at the Logan County Fair for her baking and floral arrangements.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
