Beatrice Banta

Beatrice M. Banta, 90, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine. She was born in Bellefontaine on September 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Alfred Sr. and Gladys (Tillman) Braden.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Banta, and her two brothers, Alfred Jr. and Cedric Braden.

She is survived by four children; Buddy Gene Presson of Bellefontaine, Martina Sue (Donald) Ritchie of Colorado Springs, CO, Bruce C. (Deborah) Banta of Humble, TX, and Lorette K. (Edward) Tevis of Kings Mountain, NC, two grandchildren; Brandon E. Tevis of Atlanta, GA and Christy Banta of Austin, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Beatrice had worked for May’s Pizza in Belle Center for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed reading and word puzzles. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking and baking. She also loved all animals.

Private burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery alongside her husband. No visitation is scheduled.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
