Bette Lattimer

Bette R. Butts Lattimer, age 86 of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went to be with the Lord and all those that preceded her in death at 5:35 A.M. September 21, 2014 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.

She was born in Rosewood, Ohio February 15, 1928, to the late J. D. and Ethel (Buroker) Butts.

On July 13, 1946, she married Carl F. Lattimer and he preceded her in death August 3, 1987.

Bette is survived by four sons, Larry (Joni), Lenny (Sharon), Ron (Julie) and Randy (Judy) Lattimer; nineteen grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Partington and Jeanette Heath; two brothers, Floyd and Max (Pam) Butts; a special friend, Peg Butts, and several nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Bette was an avid sports fan. She played basketball, softball and bowled in leagues for forty eight years in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Arizona. She was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and her beloved Buckeyes.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Springhill Cemetery in Springhills, Ohio.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, Ohio.
