Bette Jean Smith Warner

Bette Jean Smith Warner, 92, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday morning, May 22, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Champaign County, Ohio on February 6, 1926 to the late Marjorie Blair.  Bette was also preceded in death by her first husband Phillip M. Smith, her second husband Kenneth Warner, two sons: Gary Smith and Keith Smith.

Bette graduated from Salem High School.  A mother to eight boys, she later worked 19 years at Siemens.  Bette was a member of the Urbana First United Presbyterian Church.  She was proud of her flowers, yardwork, and family.

Bette is survived by sons: Larry Smith of Bellefontaine, Steven Smith of Lakeview, Jerry Smith of Apopka, Florida, Gregory Smith of West Liberty, Frank Smith of Bellefontaine, and Mark (Tammy) Smith of West Liberty; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Keith Matthews will officiate the funeral service on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.  Burial will be in Kingscreek Cemetery.
