Betty Kuntz

Betty L. Kuntz, 85, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kenton, Ohio.

She was born in Zanesfield, Ohio October 20, 1928, to the late Clifford and Laura (Levan) Chamberlain. On February 17, 1945, she married Floyd R. Kuntz in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death September 25, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Kuntz; a daughter, Carol Cloninger; sisters, Eunice and Ruth Boggs; a brother, Milo Chamberlain; and a grandson, Joshua Kuntz.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley M. (Fiancé, Karl Landon) Handly and Linda L. Kuntz, both of Kenton; sons, Joseph R. (Sandy) Kuntz of Massillon, Ohio, Paul E. (Melinda) Kuntz of Swansea, South Carolina; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; sisters, Rita (Bill) Rowe of Big Springs, Ohio, Sharon (Dean) Fuhrer of Beverly, Ohio and Kathy (Doug) Clark of Bellefontaine; brothers, Larry Chamberlain of California, Don (Joyce) Chamberlain of Rosewood, Ohio and Jim (Carolyn) Chamberlain and Richard (Jean) Chamberlain, both of DeGraff, Ohio.

Betty was very dedicated to her family. She was a homemaker and attended the New Salem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, baking, sewing and going to yard sales.

Pastor Jason Manns will officiate the 1:30 P.M. funeral service Sunday, December 22, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Zanesfield Cemetery in Zanesfield, Ohio.
