Betty Parker

Betty Parker, 81, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center.

Betty was born in Crockett, Kentucky on June 2, 1935 to the late Albert and Sarah Adkins. She married William E. Parker on December 25, 1957 in Urbana and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2016. Betty was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Ann Parker in 1962, a son, Jeffrey Wayne Parker in 2007, 2 sisters and several brothers.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Teresa Parker and son, Jerry (Diana) Parker, all of Bellefontaine, seven grandchildren; Douglas Mattox, Christina Mattox, Chastity Morris, Erica Morris, Tom Warner, Tim Warner, and Casey Dixon; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister in Kentucky and a brother in Pennsylvania.

A loving wife and mother, Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed reading books. She loved her grandchildren and cherished her time spent playing games on her computer.

Pastor Ron Irick will officiate a graveside service on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 12 noon at Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center assisted the family with arrangements.
