Biography

Betty L. Savage, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Logan County Ohio October 10, 1931, to the late Watson and Jessie Butterfield Kreglow.

Betty married Thomas E. Savage in Zanesfield, Ohio June 30, 1950, and he preceded her in death October 19, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a brother Max Kreglow and sisters Ruth Fansler and Lucille Hahn.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of the New Salem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by 3 sons William J. Savage of Kenton, Ohio, Edward Lee (Denise) Savage of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Jessie James (Maggie) Savage of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Helen Marie (Roger) Lattimer of Belle Center, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Cory Savage officiating. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the funeral home from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the North Greenfield Cemetery in Logan County.
