Betty Snell

Betty Ann Snell, 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 10:08 A.M. Friday, January 3, 2013 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio.

She was born in DeGraff, Ohio March 24, 1923, to the late William Sherman and Hazel Irene (Condiff) Watson.

On June 6, 1942, she married Donald Edward Snell and he preceded her in death October 11, 1990. She was also preceded in death by three brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Holder of Bellefontaine; two sons, Donald (Cheryl) Snell Jr. of Belle Center, Ohio and David (Barb) Snell of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Brian Holder of Lakeview, Ohio, Heidi Robb of Bellefontaine, Barry (Amie) Holder and Bradley Holder, both of California, Kaylie (fiancé Jaycee Murray) Snell and Shannon Snell, both of Bellefontaine; two step-granddaughters, Ann and Lisa; eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 2 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
