Beulah R. Orahood, 86, formerly of Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Mercy-McAuley Center, Urbana.

Beulah was born in West Mansfield on May 30, 1928 to the late Russell and Martha (Clemons) Miller. She married Fay I. Orahood on June 7, 1947 in Cambridge, Indiana and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1982. Beulah was also preceded in death by her son Stephen Lee Orahood on November 13, 1971, three sisters; Rose Marie Crozier, Elnora Clark and JoAnn Roberts and brothers; Carl Miller and Walter Miller.

Beulah was retired from Siemens and the Logan County Cancer Society. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, camping, fishing and hunting mushrooms in Michigan. Beulah also volunteered with the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild. A gracious host, you never left her home hungry. Beulah was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine.

Beulah is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Susan and James Ary of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren: Staci Lynn Headings of Dublin, Ohio and Stephen Lee (Miriam) Headings of Richwood, Ohio, a great-grandson Stephen Blayne Headings, many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend of many years, Greta Jo Kerns of Bellefontaine.

Pastor Rob Fulton will officiate the funeral service on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
