Beverly Klopfenstein

Beverly E. Klopfenstein, 74, of Jackson Center passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Ross Heart Hospital, Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University. She was born in Maplewood on January 7, 1941 to the late Edward and Ruby (Elliott) Miller. Bev was also preceded in death by a brother James Miller, an aunt Sarah Farley, and uncles Charlie, Lou and Karl Elliott.

On August 2, 1958, Bev married Harold Klopfenstein in Anna and he survives in Jackson Center. She is also survived by children: Bryan (Linda) Klopfenstein of Anna, Terry (Ruby) Klopfenstein of Jackson Center, Sharon (Matt) Braun of Jackson Center, Michele (Kevin) Schaub of Wapakoneta and Darin (Jeanne) Klopfenstein of Jackson Center; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and beloved pet, Little Bit.

A graduate of Jackson Center High School, Bev worked many years at Wal-Mart before retiring. She liked to quilt and sew, do crafts and pottery and she enjoyed camping and boating. Bev loved to spend time with her family, and even after retiring from Wal-Mart she was known to visit the stores frequently. She was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Jackson Center. Pastor Rob Ulmer will officiate the funeral on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11am at the Jackson Center United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
