Billie Barton

Billie Jean Barton, 85, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at her home.

She was born July 20, 1928 in Bellefontaine, a daughter of the late William and Freda (Shields) Kinnard.

On November 29, 1948, she married Bill Barton and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Barton in 2010.

Survivors include a daughter, Jenny (Don) Fitzgerald of Villa Rica, Georgia; grandchildren, Brad Barton of Florida, Corey (Sabrina) Fitzgerald and Chris (Ashley) Fitzgerald both of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Danielle and Jenny Barton, Zach, Landry, Lilly and Chloe Fitzgerald and Destiny Hallford; a brother, Dr. Philip (Jo) Kinnard of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billie worked at John T. Belser Accounting office in Bellefontaine for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was active with the Logan County Cancer Society.

Pastor Ed Beale will conduct an 11 A.M. funeral service Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
