Billie Ray King, 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio Friday, April 26, 2013.
He was born May 6, 1950, in Powderly, Kentucky to the late James T. and Inez C. (Mitchell) King. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Connie and Debbie King, Betty Jean Williams and Lana Bevil.
In 1975, he married Deborah Lynn Horne in Collinsville, Illinois and she survives along with two sons, William Lee and Thomas Ray King, both of Bellefontaine; his brothers, Danny James King of Bellefontaine and James Thomas King, Jr. of Hobart, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth and Alexis Grace King; his step grandchildren, James Aaron and Kelsey Rose Castle, and many nieces and nephews.
A truck driver, he was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles and Moose Lodges. He liked to play poker, enjoyed traveling, vacationing and watching all sports on television.
Calling hours are Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where Pastor C. J. Plogger will officiate an 11:00 A.M. funeral service Monday, April 29, 2013 with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
