Blaine Everett Collins

Blaine Everett Collins, 77, of DeGraff, passed away at 10:42 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024. He was born in Troy, Ohio on November 30, 1947, a son of the late Blaine Jerome Collins and Mary Katherine (Clawson) Collins.

On November 30, 2008, Blaine married Susan "Sarah" Kay (Weisenbarger) Collins in DeGraff, Ohio and she survives, along with a son, Blaine “Skip” (Amber) Collins; four stepchildren, Wesley (Amy) Schultz, Kendra (Richard) McKee, Brent Schultz, and Leah Cash; two grandchildren, Caylib Collins, and Kierra Collins; six step grandchildren, Gauge McKee, Brynlee McKee, Elissa Schultz, Logan, Ryan, and Kendall; two great grandchildren, Lincoln Collins, and Nash Collins; a sister, Susan (Lyn) Niswonger; a brother-in-law, Jim Bell; and nieces and nephews, Andi (Ben) Burk, Micah Niswonger, Jami (Matthew) Bell, Kaden Burk, Myles Burk, and Samantha Niswonger. In addition to his parents, Blaine was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Bell.

Blaine had worked as a surveyor for Woolpert in Dayton, Ohio. He loved attending church, traveling with his job, and spending time outdoors, especially hiking.

Pastor Bruce Keeling will officiate a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the DeGraff Baptist Church, 9357 State Route 47 in DeGraff with a luncheon following the service.
