Bonnie Tuttle, age 69, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Saturday evening July 15, 2017, at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Detroit, Michigan March 9, 1948, to the late Melbourne and Mary (Spencer) Killam.  Bonnie was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joe Simon.

Bonnie married George B. Tuttle August 8, 1970 in Warren, Michigan and he survives in Bellefontaine.  She is also survived by their children Jason (Keely Mills) Tuttle of New York, New York and Anne (William) Canaday of Pataskala, Ohio; two grandchildren Nolan and Waylon Canaday; a brother, Richard (Judy) Killam of State College, Pennsylvania; a sister, Nancy Simon of Chicago, Illinois and several nieces and nephews Brad (Andrea) Killam, Spence (Cathryn) Killam, Sherry (Kevin) Tirko, Mellisa (ChenChi) Xqdong and Jnandra Simon.

Bonnie was a Martha Holden Jennings Scholar in 1971-1972.  She graduated from Wright State University with her Master’s degree and spent thirty five years in education.  She taught at the Patterson Kennedy School for the Deaf in the Dayton Public School System and also at Conger Elementary and Carlisle Elementary in the Delaware Public School System.  Before closing out her working career, Bonnie worked at the Huntington Bank for several years.  An avid quilter, Bonnie was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine  Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 2 - 4 P.M. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
