Brenda Jean Blair, 71, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 8:55 A.M. at Heartland of Bellefontaine surrounded by her family. She was born November 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Joe and Marietta (Heisel) Galluzzo.
She was the beloved wife of Paul H. Blair for almost forty five years and a wonderful mother to their daughter, Jennifer Blair of Bellefontaine and a son, Dr. Russell (Abby) Blair of Cleveland, Ohio. Also surviving are two grandsons, Dylan and Ian; sisters, Marilyn Frost of Boca Raton, Florida, Linda Brugler of Columbus, Ohio and Kathy (Henry) Leveque of Seattle, Washington; a brother, Joe (Linda) Galluzzo of Richmond, Indiana and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1958 and was a lifelong resident of Bellefontaine and Logan County. She was a devoted member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was an avid bowler and loved her bowling friends and team, KitKats. She was a big fan of the New York Yankees and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Father Patrick Sheridan will conduct a funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 3, 2011, at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Calling hours are Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Interment will take place at the Zanesfield Cemetery in Zanesfield, Ohio.
