Brian Allen Prall, 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday morning, September 22, 2012 at his home.
Brian was born in Bellefontaine February 4, 1950, to Charles A. Prall and Phyllis A. Wallace. He was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Prall and his step-father, Albert Wallace.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Viet Nam conflict. Brian married the former Erica Brown October 10, 1975 in Bellefontaine. He attended the Zanesfield United Methodist Church and loved to fish, cut wood and hunt mushrooms. He worked for twenty eight years at Global Precision Parts as a screw-machine set-up operator. Brian was an avid Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan, who especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his wife, Erica Prall; his mother, Phyllis A. Wallace; his son, Brad (Courtney) Prall, all of Bellefontaine; daughters Brianna (Jacob) Clem and Amy Kensler, both of Rushsylvania, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jake Pooler, Alyssa Pooler, Tyler Clem, Chase Prall, Brayden Clem, Chloe Prall, Abby Pooler and Brody Prall; three great-grandchildren; his beloved aunt, Louise Prall of West Liberty, Ohio; a brother, Ed (Tammy) Prall of West Liberty; his twin sister, Beth (David) Poland of West Liberty; his sister, Jana (Dennis) Wolever of Marysville, Ohio; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 1 P.M. with Pastor Gene Phelps officiating. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service beginning at 11 A.M. Interment will be at the Equality Cemetery with military honors provided by the Logan County Honor Guard.
