Bud Purtee

Bud Purtee, 71, of DeGraff, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1940 in St. Paris, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Marie (Beair) Purtee.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Marvin) Purtee, whom he married March 29, 1958, in Winchester, Indiana. He is also survived by sons, Dean (Lisa) Purtee of Botkins, Ohio and Michael P. Purtee of DeGraff; daughters, Jeanne (Homer) Nesser of Mansfield, Ohio and Beth Ann (Jimmy) Wright of Russells Point, Ohio; a brother, George (Nancy) Purtee of Jackson Center, Ohio; sisters, Jane Franks of Van Buren, Ohio, Jeanette (Howard) Henry of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Shirley (Richard) Campbell of Lancaster, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Dane and Robert Purtee, and 1 grandson.

A carpenter, Bud was a member of the Loganville Community Church.

Chad Lump will officiate the funeral service Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 3:00 P.M., where friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
