Burl H. Henry, age 86, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 10:05 P.M. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Logan County Ohio February 25, 1928, to the late William H. and Anna Marie (Sine) Henry. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Henry; two brothers, Robert Lee and William Henry; his step-mother, Kathryn (Server) Henry, and a step-brother, Richard Server.
On June 16, 1984, he married the former Kathy Marsh and she survives. He is also survived by his four children, Donald Robert (Kim) Henry and Steven Lee (Susan) Henry, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Sheri (Skip) Riddle and Suzanne Henry, both of Marco Island, Florida; several grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Dan) Fultz of Bellefontaine; a brother, Keith (Ida) Henry of West Mansfield, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
A United Stated Army Korean War Veteran, Burl was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine and enjoyed fishing, working on lawnmowers and working in the yard. Burl had worked at Merchants Industries for forty four years and RATH Information Systems for ten years.
Gene Marine will officiate a memorial service at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with military rites by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the memorial service. Interment will be at a later date at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
The funeral arrangements were in care of the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
