Surrounded by love, C. Freda Pequignot went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
Born October 17, 1922 in Quincy, to the late Hope Cleveland and Bessie (Van Horn) Lowe, Freda later married the late Raymond Andrew Pequignot and they had three children.
Freda was a very strong willed woman with a heart of gold. She worked for many years at Latham's, she also loved her work as a home health aide. Later in life she developed a special interest in animals and donated regularly to animal shelters. She had an everlasting love for her little black cat, Lucy.
Freda is proceeded in death by her Son, Raymond Andrew(“Andy”) Pequignot Jr., three infant sisters, brothers James E. and George G. Lowe, and a great-grandchild.
Freda is survived by many people who loved her very much including her children Joanna (Timothy) Moore, James (Debra) Pequignot, and her Daughter-in-law Peg Pequignot all of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by her grandchildren Janet (Tony) Jackson, Stacy (Rick) Wells, Cheryl Collinsworth, Joe (Paige) Pequignot, Heidi (Zach) Rhoades, Tara (David Organ) Moore, Mandy Pequignot, and Zach (Joe King) Moore; and great-grandchildren Alexandra Wells, Ashly Wells, Scott Jackson, Dustin Wells, Brandt Jackson, Adrienne Wells, Arie Pequignot, Kennedy Collinsworth, Haylee Pequignot, Carly Organ, Kyeler Rhoades, David Organ Jr., and Chevelle Organ; great-great-grandchildren: Aiden Smith, Addison Smith, Gabriel Mosley, Briella Comer, and Brooklyn Mosley. All the little children were her greatest joy later in life!
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people who helped make this transition of life so easy on Freda.
Funeral services for Freda will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1:30pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 6-8pm. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
