Carl Henry, Jr., 82, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013.
He was born in Bellefontaine February 18, 1930, a son of the late Tony and Mary Margaret (Cordrey) Henry.
On December 1, 1951, he married Gerry Keagy in Bellefontaine and she survives along with their children, Deborah (Sam) Shoe of DeGraff, David (Barbara) Henry of Cincinnati, Barbara (Kit) Heath of Springfield, Dianne (Jim) Gilley, Sheryl (Mike) LaBatt, and Dana Henry all of Bellefontaine; 16 grandchildren, Kevin, Beth Ann, Shannon, Dustin and Clinton all of DeGraff, Alicia of West Liberty, Allison and Laura of Cincinnati, Brandi and Andrea of New Carlisle, Nathan of Springfield, Derek, Devin, Kristin and Aaron all of Bellefontaine, Danielle of Columbus; and 16 great grandchildren.
A 1948 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, he served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1957. He was an agent for Prudential Insurance and retired from Siemens after 30 years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. He loved sports, was an avid and loyal OSU fan and was a life-time B.P.O.E. member.
Calling hours are from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Father Patrick Sheridan will officiate a Mass of Christian burial at the St. Patrick Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
