Carl Leon Shields Jr.

Carl Leon Shields Jr., age 48, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, November 3, 2020, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Carl was born in Bellefontaine December 29, 1971, to the late Carl L. and Sandy June (Shough) Shields.  He was also preceded in death by his soulmate, Millie Robinson.

Carl is survived by his sisters, Barb (Lee Parmer) Shields, Brenda (Daniel Rogan) Shields, Bonnie Shields and Connie (Mark Collier) Shields; nieces and nephews, Robin Parmer, Ryan Parmer, James Epps, Tyler Queen, Xavier Scherer, Brayden Sinkford, Tyrae Shields, Ronieka Lynch, Kenyon King and Samara King; great-nephew and great-nieces, Gaidge, Aubree and Ava and special friends, Timothy McClain and Randy Cole Jr.

As a mechanic, handyman and jack of all trades, Carl loved to work on cars.  Most recently he was working at HBD.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  If somebody needed help, Carl would be there to help them out.  He was a kind-hearted good friend, who will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held for Carl at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Sunday, November 8, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m.  Due to the current pandemic order, please be symptom free, practice social distancing and consider wearing a mask.
