Carl Wayne Stevenson

Carl Wayne Stevenson, age 56, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Union County Ohio as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born March 6, 1961 in Logan County Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Herbert Jr. and Florence Irene (Schmidt) Stevenson.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Bateman and Jo Ann Stevenson and a brother, Dennis Ray Stevenson.

Carl is survived by a son, Ryan; two brothers, Bill E. (Bonnie) Stevenson of Rushsylvania, Ohio and Herbert J. (Becky) Stevenson of Belle Center, Ohio; a sister in law, Chris Stevenson of Rushsylvania and a brother in law, and many nieces and nephews.

He had attended the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine.  He worked as an auto body repair technician and enjoyed working on custom cars and attending car shows.

The family will have a gathering of family and close friends for a graveside service at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
