Carol Snapp

Carol Ann Snapp, 71, of Quincy passed away Wednesday morning, July 15, 2015 at her home. She was born in Bellefontaine on June 6, 1944 to the late Paul Richard and Myrtle (Price) Ewing.

Carol was preceded in death by her first husband David Wilson Engle whom she married in August of 1964 and he died in June of 1994, second husband Fred High, and her husband Gerald K. Snapp, whom she married in August of 2001 and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2014.

A 1962 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Carol worked at HBD for thirty-plus years before retiring. She loved to make crafts and participated many years at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Carol enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her children, Tamara (Brian) Henry of West Liberty and John (Jennifer) Engle of Belle Center; seven grandchildren: Melissa (Bill Millis) Henry, Micah Henry, Rebekah (Nick) Price, Heather (Matt) Kemper, Aaron Engle, Erin McCloud and Haley McCloud; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother Edwin Ewing of Urbana; a sister Rebecca McColloch; and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Keith Matthews will officiate a funeral service on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine at 4pm where visitation will be held from 2-4pm. Burial will be at a later date in Blue Jacket Cemetery.
