Carole E. Cunningham, 79, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty.
She was born November 27, 1933 in Butler, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late John W. and Bernice (Moore) Burris. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Cunningham; a sister, Kathleen Burris; brothers, Dale and Wendell Burris and two half-brothers, Bill and Don Burris.
She married Robert G. Cunningham October 20, 1951 in Pennsylvania, and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by a daughter, Corinne (Dale) Riegler of DeGraff, Ohio; grandchildren, Dale (Katie) Cunningham Jr., Michael (Jody) Riegler, Morgan Cunningham; two great-grandchildren including Sophia Cunningham; sisters, Darlene (Lou) Schonberger, Gerilyn (Herb) Lind, Shirley (Sam) Maxwell all of Florida, Nancy (Dick) Saletzki of Arizona, Janice (Bob) Goodman of Pennsylvania, Lorraine (Jeff) Gerlack of Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews.
A secretary and office manager, she was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Calling hours will be Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in North Olmsted, Ohio.
