Caroline Littlejohn
Caroline M. Littlejohn, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
She was born in Logan County Ohio April 21, 1933, to the late Rev. Ernest and Ella (King) Detweiler. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Janet Hunsicker, and a sister, Deloris Littlejohn.
Surviving is her husband, James Littlejohn, whom she married October 30, 1953 in Bellefontaine. She is also survived by their daughter, Sheryl Littlejohn of Bellefontaine; a son-in-law, Robert Hunsicker of West Liberty, Ohio; two grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Hunsicker and Laura (Shannon) Wright, both of Bellefontaine, and five great grandsons.
A homemaker, Caroline was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, the FAN CLAN of Ohio Trailer Club and the Sunny Brook Trailer Club. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting and sewing.
Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the 1:00 P.M. funeral service Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
