Caroline P. Zell, 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1933, in Cherokee, Ohio to the late Edward and Julia (Lien) Fulmer.
On June 25, 1949, she married Gorden Lavern Zell in Huntsville, Ohio and he preceded her in death September 20, 1992. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Willis Fulmer.
Surviving are four sons, Ed (Judy) Zell of Logan, Ohio, Tom Zell, Jeff (Lisa) Zell and Richard Zell, all of Bellefontaine; twelve grandchildren, Julie (Sean) Stringer of Lancaster,Ohio, Jim (Heather) Zell of Pickerington, Ohio, Joel Micah (Sara) Zell of Columbus, Ohio, Travis (Christine) Zell of San Diego, California, Tara (Brian) Brockmeier of Jacksonville, Florida, Todd (Lena) Zell of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Trina (Joe) Kopus of Bellefontaine, Tiffany (Ken) Shepherd of Piqua, Ohio, Briana (Hank) Spangler of Delaware, Ohio, Cody (Katie) Zell of Bellefontaine, Artie Zell of Bellefontaine and Keelyn Zell of Athens/Bellefontaine, and twenty two great grandchildren.
Caroline had a great love for her Lord. She was a homemaker and co-owner of L.P.Z. Construction Company, Inc. She attended Huntsville School and was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors. In her younger years, she loved being involved with her boys sporting events. She loved to cook and was a collector of cookbooks. Caroline also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed the Angels of Ohio Junior Drum Corp.
Calling hours will be held Friday, August 30, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor Chuck Temple will officiate the 2:00 P.M. funeral service Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church in Bellefontaine. A graveside service will be held at the Bellefontaine Cemetery following the funeral service.
