Cathleen German
Cathleen A. German, age 64, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born November 25, 1949 in Bellefontaine, the daughter of the late Phillip and Ruth Bell Lantz.
On August 27, 1970, she married Richard L. German in Monroe, Michigan and he preceded her in death September 12, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Ronald Murray.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Scott (Karin) German of Bellefontaine; two grandchildren, Aaron and Alexander German both of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Christine Murray and Cathleen’s twin sister, Charlene Forsythe, both of Bellefontaine; two nieces, Kimberly (Brad) Fisher of Spring Hills, Ohio and Mary Jones of Bellefontaine.
Cathleen was a 1969 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. She worked for Honda of America at the Marysville Automobile Plant in the Assembly Dept. from 1987 until 2009 when she retired. She was a member of the West Liberty First Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed being involved. She loved her family and especially the time she spent with her grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with Pastor Keith Landis officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to Friday’s service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
