Cathy Danean LeVan, 63, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her residence.
She was born November 10, 1949 in Logan County Ohio to the late Margaret (Coy) Wren and David Wren, who survives in West Liberty, Ohio.
On November 24, 1994, she married Ronald Wayne LeVan in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and he preceded her in death June 7, 2009. A son, Mark Losey, and a brother, Terry Wren, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Deanne (David) LaRoche and Matt (Libby) Losey, both of Bellefontaine; a daughter-in-law, Tess Losey of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric, Donnie, Maggie, Kaitlyn, Lillian and Elijah; step-children, Ronnie (Tara) LeVan Jr., Dwayne (JoAnne) LeVan, Denise Houser, Ryan LeVan, Dean (Amy) LeVan and Darin (Meghan) LeVan, all of Bellefontaine; nine step grandchildren; brothers, David (Dara) Wren of Bellefontaine and Dennis (Donna) Wren of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Sherry Wren of Bellefontaine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cathy retired from the Bellefontaine Police Department. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, decorating and shopping.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the North Greenfield Cemetery in Logan County Ohio at a later date.
