Cecil Lloyd Vermillion

Cecil Lloyd Vermillion, 61, of Belle Center, Ohio, died suddenly at 5:15 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2010. He was born in Kenton, Ohio January 6, 1949, to the late Lloyd Vermillion and Lenora Irene DeLong Vermillion. On September 1, 1984 he married Cindy Faulkner and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons; Dustin Vermillion of Florida, Cecil Vermillion II of Belle Center and five daughters; Jessica Vermillion of Belle Center, Roberta Wells and Melissa Rose, both of Kenton, Ohio, Jolene Elsasser of LaRue, Ohio, and Jolette Coburn of Alger, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Ginni Bailey of Belle Center, Teresa Harp of Kenton, Sondra Wren of Florida, brother Jimmy Vermillion of Larue; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Bob Vermillion.

Cecil enjoyed his animals, traveling to swap meets and especially loved spending time with his grandson and sidekick T.C. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 16, 2010, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center. Military rites will be conducted by the Logan County Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Belle Center Summer Ball Association.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center.
