Chad Lucas Taylor, 30, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at his home. He was born in Springfield, Ohio December 19, 1981, to Donna Griffin of North Lewisburg, Ohio and Tracy Taylor of Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He is survived by his three daughters; Abigaile, Jazzalyn and Amelia Taylor; his mother, Donna (Bob) Griffin of North Lewisburg; his father, Tracy (Lisa) Taylor of Bellefontaine; maternal grandparents, Carroll and Anna Mae Eastman of West Mansfield, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Jack and Kay Taylor of Bellefontaine; five siblings; Jason (Amy) Taylor of El Paso, Texas, Jaime (Brittany McFadden) Eastman of Bellefontaine, Tabitha (Josh) Shields of Bellefontaine, James (Hanna) Newman of Miami, Florida and Andrew Newman of Bellefontaine; his girlfriend, Suann Carlisle and her children Auna, Devon, Drake and Chance; his aunts, Trann Porter and Tisha Sullivan, both of Bellefontaine, Cheryl Miller of Garfield Heights, Ohio, Debbie (Ed) Smith of Urbana, Ohio, and Cindy Hoffman of Bellefontaine; an uncle, Steven Eastman; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chad was a Maintenance Team Leader at Columbus Castings. He was baptized in the Zanesfield United Methodist Church. An avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, he enjoyed hunting and loved his family.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Pastor Gene Phelps officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family for the establishment of a trust fund for Chad’s children.
The funeral arrangements were handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
