Charlene Forsythe

Charlene B. Forsythe, 66, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born in Bellefontaine on November 25, 1949, the daughter of the late Phillip and Ruth (Bell) Lantz. On February 11, 1978, she married Robert Allen Forsythe and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1987. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Murray and Cathleen German (her twin sister), and a nephew, Ronald Murray.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Kimberly (Brad) Fisher of Springhills, Mary Jones of Urbana, and Scott (Karin) German of Bellefontaine, many great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Charlene was a 1969 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Heartland of Bellefontaine, a job of which she truly loved. When not at work, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as her dog. She really just enjoyed living life.

Pastor Michael Mertz will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
