Charlene Skidmore

Charlene Skidmore, 83, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away at 9:40 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her home.

She was born in Hardin County, Ohio September 20, 1928, to the late Dewey Pearl and Garnet (Dicus) Dreitzler.

On October 1, 1949, she married Wayne Skidmore and he preceded her in death March 1, 1995. A sister, Sidney McGinnis, also preceded her in death.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Cindy (Lance) Shepherd of Belle Center; two sons, Greg (Diana) Skidmore and Kevin (Gloria) Skidmore, both of Belle Center; seven grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Rebecca, Jordan, Weston, Kayla and Tyler; six great grandchildren, Marissa, Gwenna, Allison, Emily, Danica and Travis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, she had attended the Roundhead United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be conducted Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center with Pastor Neil D. Partington officiating. Calling hours are Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 2 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the McDonald Fairview Cemetery in Kenton, Ohio.

The funeral arrangements were handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center.
