Charles L. “Chuckie” Davy, 26 of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, August 19, 2013 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born in Columbus, Ohio March 24, 1987.
Chuckie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lillian Cavinder Rumer August 27, 1990, and his paternal grandfather, James Lee Davy on April 29, 2012.
He is survived by his father Charles “Chuck” Davy of Galena, Ohio; his mother Pam Rumer Davy of Bellefontaine; brother James Christopher Davy of Bellefontaine; paternal grandmother Nancy Davy of Columbus; maternal grandfather James Henry Rumer, Sr. of Bellefontaine; uncles George Davy of Columbus, Steve (Jeri) Davy of New Albany and James H. (Toni) Rumer of Bellefontaine; aunts Teresa Rumer and Amanda (Jason) Warner both of Bellefontaine; numerous cousins including; Kyle (Davianna) Rumer, Nicholas (Chelsea) Rumer, Jayce Warner, Karlie & Kateline Mathews, Erin (Brandon) Collins, Sean, Kyle, Emily, and Elizabeth Davy; including special second cousins Ian Rumer, Arianna Rumer and Sophie Collins; and a best friend Avery Jackson.
Chuckie was a 2005 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and studied Animal Management at the Ohio Hi-Point Joint Vocational School. He loved the wilderness, fishing and playing video games. Spending time with his cousins and brother were special to Chuckie.
Pastor Cheryl Siegenthaler will officiate the funeral service Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
