Charles E. Herron

Charles E. Herron, age 75, of Kenton, Ohio passed away at 12:39 A.M. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at The Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Lake Village, Arkansas May 23, 1943, to the late James Truman and Lovie (Dempsey) Herron.

Charles was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Kay Herron; siblings, Dempsey Bett Herron, Billie Jean Yruegas, Alice (Vic) Wright, JT Herron, Don Herron, and Robert Herron.

He is survived by his children, Jeff (Amy) Herron of Alger, Ohio and Jill (Chad) Cowgill of Milford Center, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle, Jacob, Taylor, Brandt, and Gracey; great grandchildren, Payton, Aubra, and Brantley; sisters, Sally (Wayne) Mahoney, Joyce (Archie) Halterman, and Florine Landers; brothers, Clarence Herron and Tommy Herron and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles worked for Morton Buildings for over thirty years and retired in 2005.  He loved building things and spending time with his grandchildren.  All who knew Charles will miss him.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 P.M. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.

The family requests casual dress for Charles’s service.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
