Charles Eugene Sherard

Charles Eugene Sherard, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 6:24 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Lima, Ohio on July 19, 1952, to the late Bernard Clarence and Ida Marie (Johns) Sherard. 

On October 6, 1973, he married Debra Ann (Cole) Sherard, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Valarie Britt, and Billie (James) Cole; grandchildren, Bryson Britt, Hunter Britt, Braylon Branson, and Nova Cole; sister, Mary Sherard; brothers, Mike (Debra) Sherard, and Dick (Linda) Sherard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Snyder, Linda Anderson, Betty Jo Sherard, Bernie Sherard, and Don Sherard. 

Charles worked for Koneta Rubber in Wapakoneta. He was a devoted grandpa and loved spending time with his family. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and cars. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Harrod Cemetery in Auglaize County.
