Charles David Wroten

Charles David Wroten, 77, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 12:28 A.M. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Hardin County Ohio August 26, 1939, to the late Charles and Mary Bell (Stewart) Wroten. On August 17, 1963, he married the former Kay Kindell and she survives.

Along with his wife of fifty three years, Dave is survived by his son, Greg Wroten of Bellefontaine, and special friends Craig and Wendy Rutan of Bellefontaine.

Dave worked sixteen years at D.A.B. in Bellefontaine before becoming self-employed.  He and his family operated Dave’s Donuts in Bellefontaine for a few years.  Dave was a past Exulted Ruler of the Bellefontaine Elks Lodge.  He loved sprint car and drag racing and drag raced for many years. Dave enjoyed boating on Indian Lake and being outdoors.

Pastor Chuck Temple will officiate a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, in the committal building at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
