Chloe Avis Linson

Chloe Avis Linson, age 88, formerly of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Monday evening, March 4, 2019 at Logan Acres Community in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

She was born in Logan County Ohio May 3, 1930, to the late Melvin and Lula (Lowe) Fogle.  She married Emil David “Whitey” Linson July 3, 1949 in Rushsylvania, Ohio and he preceded her in death June 4, 1987.  Chloe was also preceded in death by a son, Lewis Earl “Lewie” Linson, her brothers Lowell and Francis Fogle and her sisters, Marian Eastman and Lavere Kavanaugh.

Chloe is survived by her children, John (Diana) Linson, Connie (Mike) Darling, Jim Linson, all of Belle Center, and Bob Linson of Bellefontaine; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Sue Linson of DeGraff, Ohio; six grandchildren,  Adam (Julie) Linson, Matthew Linson, Brittany Linson, Deric Linson, Hilary (Jason Deal) Ford, and Micaela (Robert) Collinsworth; five great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons; four sisters-in-law, Ruth Fogle Garvin of West Mansfield, Ohio, Genevie Born of Belle Center, Marion Anderson of Kenton, Ohio and Lavonne Beers of Springfield, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

A 1948 graduate of West Mansfield High School, Chloe enjoyed babysitting and worked at Hearold Voice for several years.  She also worked a few years at the Belle Center Store.  Chloe loved to read, go on drives and visit cemeteries.  She had attended the Belle Center Church of Christ and the New Richland Baptist Church.  The family would like to say “thank you” to the staff at Logan Acres for the care they provided to Mom.

Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4 to 7 P.M.

Pastor Steve Smith will officiate the funeral service Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
