Christina Brill

Christina Brill, age 87, passed away peacefully at Green Hills in West Liberty on September 28, 2021.

She was born in Bellefontaine on May 26, 1934, to the late Nathan and Margaret Wilcox, and was blessed with two brothers, Jim and Bill, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Fred; daughters Linda (Rod) Kerns, Beverly (Robert) Wilcox, and Carol (Michael) Wayman; sons Robert (Chun) Shoots and Steven (Lori) Shoots; step-children Rose (Mike) Lyons, Phil (Dorothy) Brill, Carol (Mark) Stinemetz, Dwight (Marilyn) Brill, Joyce (Harold) Porginski, Jeff (Carolyn) Brill, Tom (Charlotte) Brill, Gary (Jeannie) Brill, and Richard (Cyndi) Brill.  Chris and Fred’s combined family includes 39 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are brother-in-law Harold Brill, former husband Robert Shoots, nieces and nephews.

Christina worked in various medical offices in Bellefontaine and at the Logan County Health Department for many years.  Her favorite job was raising her children.  She was a wonderful, loving, mother and grandmother.  Her family meant everything to her.  She loved to share stories and photos of her life and the ever-expanding family she shared with Fred.

The family extends a special thank you to Green Hills for their kind, compasionate care.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
