Biography

Christina Nicole Moss, aka “Bunky”, 27, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, August 14, 2015 at approximately 11:27am at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. She fought a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born in Bellefontaine on May 18, 1988 to Tonya D. Ratleff of Lima and Christopher L. Moss of Bellefontaine, both of whom survive. She also leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life, fiancé Lynn Manley and her little man, who was the joy of her life, 18 month old son Merhawi Manley; her only sister KyLee Y. Moss of Urbana; two brothers Paul J. Moss of Bellefontaine and Christian K.L. Ratleff of Lima; grandmother Shirley A. Moss of Bellefontaine; sweet little niece Kinzley; best friend Brittany Foulk and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Leroy E. Moss, Lawrence Ratleff, Sr., Norma Jean Ratleff and Norman Jones; great-grandmother Marjorie Bayless and cousin Larrilyn M. Ratleff.

She was a 2006 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and played basketball. She also took online courses with Fortis College. Before and during her illness, she was employed by Motel Six in Lima. She was a member of Auburn Avenue Baptist Church.

Rev. Frank McCullough will officiate a funeral service on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where friends may call on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 5-8pm and also one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
